Ride Like A Girl
- The ever popular Ride Like A Girl season has started up again! The Austin Ridge Riders hosting a five month program of weekly Monday evening women's mountain bike rides, plus weekend rides at local mountain bike trails/parks. This is an opportunity to meet other women to ride with, learn new trails and learn new skills. Each ride will divide up into groups based on riders' abilities and speed and will have a beginner clinic/ride, intermediate, and advanced group rides. Rides will last 1 - 2.5 hours. Prizes and gift certificates from our sponsors will be raffled away after every ride. Join us for a girls-only ride on Monday evenings and some Saturdays thoroughout the summer. All skill levels welcome, with beginners especially encouraged. Check the events page for the schedule.
The Walnut Creek Map!
Still getting lost when riding the 'Nut? Have no fear, the new map is here! Download it or see it live and in person at the kiosk at the park.

working order. If it rains within 24 hours of the ride,
we will cancel. For more information, contact Michael McMurtray via email or at five 5 four 7 one 4 nine.

Austin
Mountain Bike Patrol
-
Scheduled
rides with the Austin Mountain Bike Patrol (AMBP) are
typically the first and third Saturdays of each month
(weather permitting). They typically alternate between
Barton Creek Greenbelt, Walnut Creek Park and Lake Georgetown.
Rides are facilitated by the AMBP with the purpose of
familiarizing riders with local trails while also demonstrating
bike handling skills and proper trail etiquette during
each ride. Check the Events
link for AMBP's upcoming patrol schedule and the rider/trail
ratings for these trails. It is not necessary to
be a member to ride with us, but it is necessary to
wear a helmet, have your own bike, water etc.
Riders will be grouped by ability; no riders will be
dropped. For more info contact: John
Southrey.
