Cindy Weisinger has served the ARR Board for five years as a Director-at-Large, Secretary and during the last two years as club treasurer. Cindy enhanced the professionalism of the club’s financial record keeping and brings strong working relationships within cycling community as well as local businesses. In addition to a very busy professional career, Cindy also took on the role of club Race Director and through her hard work, ARR re-established itself on the TMBRA Spring Race Series after a four year hiatus. In 2008, ARR hosted the Bicycle Sport Shop Singletrack Stampede at Reimers Ranch followed by the sophmore event in 2009. In 2010 and 2011 the race was moved the Pace Bend Park and the Pace Bend Race has drawn an increasing amount of racers and spectators partly due to the extra amenities the venue provides but primarily due to the family-friendly, fun-filled atmosphere that is a reflect of Ms. Cindy herself. The success of these races generate vital income that is used maintain club programs and projects. In 2010, Cindy offered to coordinate a Fall grassroots endurance event and Cranksgiving was born. In its second year, this event has successfully raised funds for worthy youth groups. Active in both road and mountain biking communities, Cindy is also active in the race (TMBRA) community and is an accomplished racer. We welcome her continued involvement and are proud to have her represent the Austin Ridge Riders.
