Razor Tooth Trail Work Ride

  • Mary Moore Searight Park 907 West Slaughter Lane Austin, TX, 78748 United States (map)

This is a trail work ride to cut punji sticks and clear sightlines as part of a buildup to more involved trail work coming soon! Trimming and clearing is easy, fun, and yields immediate results! We will split into a few groups to clear spots that have been pre-flagged.

Bring a folding saw, or small loppers... whatever fits in your trail pack, and a pair of gloves.

Do NOT bring power tools!

We will have limited tools on hand for those who need them.

Depending on weather, long sleeves and pants are recommended; brush can get scratchy!

Meet at the picnic tables under the roof of the pavillion by the main lot: 907 W Slaughter Ln.

The Austin Ridge Riders is YOUR local not-for-profit Mountain Bike Club. ARR builds and maintains the trails we all enjoy.

The vision for Mary Moore Searight is a combination of routine maintenance (lopping face slappers, fixing erosion/drainage issues, etc.) as well as ADDING FLOW & FUN (berms, rollers, log features) while continuing to recognize the trails' multi-use status (hikers, horseback riders, dog walkers, etc.).

If you are a TMBRA racer, this is Pay Dirt eligible.

If you are not yet a member of Austin Ridge Riders, consider signing up today to support trail work around Austin!

Please sign our waiver before attending work days or group rides.
