It's time to finish "The Meg!" Join ARR Trail Steward Ronan O'Connor for a workday at Brushy Creek to complete a new connector trail that will allow a full 10-mile loop of the parks' singletrack without needing to use the Regional Trail (the concrete path). How exciting is that!?
The county will do a final inspection of the trail on Wednesday, and it's important to finish the punch list so we need all hands on deck! Huge thank you to Ronan and all the trail crew who have been working on this project.
We are meeting here at the trailhead near Rutledge Elementary. This is the top of the jeep road, then we hike down to work on the new green trail.
Activities include moving dirt, rock, brush, final trimming etc.
Please bring your own gloves and water. ARR has a limited number of gloves on hand, pun intended.
We will be providing tools; however, feel free to bring your own loppers, shove, MacLeod, etc.
If you are a TMBRA athlete this event is Pay Dirt eligible.
