It’s My Park Day - Little Walnut Creek Greenbelt

In our ongoing commitment to improve Little Walnut Creek Greenbelt (aka Area 51) at Springdale & E. 51st in Central East Austin, we joined forces again with the Pecan Springs - Springdale Hills Neighborhood Association for Austin Parks Foundation's It's My Park Day (IMPD).

This time, we focused more on actual trail corridor maintenance, lopping/trimming/etc., rather than trash cleanup.  Great turnout, beautiful weather, and a lot of new faces. Thanks, Charlie Riou, DeWayne Buratti, Geoff Hargreaves and Derek Hansen for leading volunteers for Austin Ridge Riders; and thanks Austin Parks Foundation for this great citywide event.
