August 2024 Updates

Did you get your tickets for the premiere of Anytime presented by Shimano yet? What are you waiting for? We are putting epic cinematic freeride mountain biking on the big screen! This event will be on September 5th, 6pm at Austin Film Society Cinema, and we will be set up to sell club merch and raffle tickets so please plan to come early so our volunteers can take care of everyone before the film starts. Thank you to Peddler, Velorangutan, and Bicycle House for supporting the prize raffle!

We are looking for 8 volunteers to help with check in, and selling merch and raffle tickets. If you are available please sign up here. These will be short shifts, a little under 1 hour. We’ll cover your ticket for you.

Group Rides

Our Ride Program Director, Abel Pardo thanks Brian Preston, Kristin Speyer, and Alex Murray for their assistance with organizing our group rides. This has been a challenging year with frequent rainouts, yet our group ride events are growing significantly. We are now hosting close to 100 riders every Sunday morning. We’ve been receiving compliments from riders outside of Austin as well, and they say that our organization is top notch, so thank you to these rock stars, and to all our Ride Leaders for giving folks such a great experience.

If you are interested in volunteering to lead or sweep group rides, please click here.

Our ride groups will be changing effective September 1st. Difficulty levels will be as follows:
